Bio:

Amanda Yan is a versatile athlete who made the Canadian women's wheelchair basketball national team after just two years playing the sport. Known for a tireless work ethic, her accolades stretch well beyond wheelchair basketball. She’s also a competitive wheelchair tennis player, handcycler, and even won the Women’s National Championship at shotput in 2012. She also won second at last year’s Women’s Wheelchair Tennis National Championships. Amanda was the recipient of the 2012 Avchen (Harivel) Pinkard Rookie of the Year award for track and field and is on track to win more honours. Amanda Yan is definitely one to watch!
