At the London 2012 Paralympics, she won two gold medals and a silver and she recently solidified her place at the top of the pack with three gold medals at the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships. She holds a Bachelor of Science with the University of Calgary and is the MLA for Parksville-Qualicum.
