BCWSA and coaches will be part of Canada's first-ever Women's Cup Wheelchair Rugby team this month in Paris, helping to blaze a trail that we hope many will follow.
We'll be cheering for Jessica Kruger (Vancouver), Tiana Hesmert (Richmond), and Julia Hanes (Vancouver) as they take on athletes from around the globe!
Team BC and Okanagan Rattlers Wheelchair Rugby Coach Kendra Todd (Kelowna) will serve as the team's Head Coach while Vancouver Whalers coach Teri Thorson (North Vancouver) will join her on the bench as the assistant.
The Canadian team brings together women from five provinces and one import from our friends at Seattle Slam Wheelchair Rugby. They'll be taking on Team Great Britain and three mixed-nation teams with athletes from Australia, Finland, France, Germany, New Zealand, South Korea and the USA from March 9-11.
