How to Get Involved
All that is required to get involved is the ability to hold one arm up to shoulder level. Assistive devices are available to ensure full participation. It is not necessary to have your own equipment to try the sport - equipment is available at practices. In addition to opportunities for participation as an athlete, there are also opportunities for coaches and volunteers. So come on out and get involved!
The BC Wheelchair Target Sports Association
The BC Wheelchair Target Sports Association is a nonprofit organization established to serve the needs of individuals wishing to participate in target shooting in BC. The Association hosts a weekly drop-in program and practice session in New Westminster, and assists clubs in other areas of the province in starting wheelchair target sports programs. The BC Wheelchair Target Sports Association is a member sport of BC Wheelchair Sports Association.
