Are you looking for a job? Are you passionate about making the world more accessible? Our friends at the Rick Hansen Foundation are launching the Team BC Access program and are looking for Access Assistants.
Access Assistants will conduct physical accessibility/inclusive design surveys of various locations in the Lower Mainland and the Greater Victoria Area using the Inclusive Design & Accessibility Rating System created by the Rick Hansen Foundation. Access Assistants will receive formal classroom and field training in the Inclusive Design & Accessibility Rating System which includes the how’s and why’s of inclusive design, accessibility and the hands-on application of the system in the field.
