-
massive-dev | May 4, 2017
Canada was once again on a roll today at the BNP Paribas 2017 World Team Cup in Italy. Canada’s quad team pulled out a 2-1 win over Korea, finishing in the top 6 in the world.
Gary Luker and Rob Shaw won their singles matches after hard-fought battles. Luker won in a tiebreak and Shaw won in a third set. Sarah Hunter and Mika Ishikawa played doubles and just narrowly lost 8-10 in the match tie break.
We’re also still buzzing about our Juniors’ 2-1 win against USA. Though the juniors’ goal was to finish the top 6, they have finished first in their pool and are guaranteed a top 4 finish. Way to go! The juniors will play their semi-final match on Saturday against either Russia or Brazil.
