You’ll have the chance to not only listen to and learn all about the impact of wheelchair sports from four incredible athletes; you’ll also have the opportunity to ask YOUR questions about Parasport. Have you always wanted to know why the wheels on sport chairs are angled wide, what’s the hardest surface to push a tennis chair on, or what’s on Trevor Hirschfield’s pregame playlist? Now’s your chance to satisfy your curiosity and get the answers you’ve been craving.
Enjoy the Entertainment
As much as our panelists will teach you, their stories and insights into the power and role of sport in individuals’ lives and society as a whole will engage and capture your attention. From Paralympic athletes chasing the podium, to a new racer just beginning their journey, the stories will combine excitement and emotion.
We’ve also got a special presentation of AMI’s Across the Line. Produced by M1 films, this 50 minute documentary was filmed on location at the 2020 IWRF Paralympic Qualification Tournament, BCWSA’s final event prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and chronicles panelists Trevor Hirschfield and Byron Green’s journey to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Team
