• BCWSA and BCWBS Welcome Back Tour Wraps Up on Vancouver Island

  • massive-dev  |  August 23, 2021

The BCWSA and BCWBS Welcome Back Tour wrapped up this weekend on Vancouver Island with two final stops in Nanaimo and Victoria.

Participants got to play a variety of sports, swap out their equipment for better-fitting chairs and get excited for the return of wheelchair sports programs this fall.

The tour included fun-filled stops in Surrey, Abbotsford, Nanaimo and Victoria!

Unfortunately we had to postpone our planned stops in Kelowna, Kamloops and Salmon Arm due to the wildfire and COVID-19 situation in the Okanagan and Interior but we hope to reschedule these stops for the fall, stay tuned for more updates.

Thanks to all of our friends and partners who joined us on the tour including SportAbility BC, Pacific Sport Vancouver Island, CARSA and more.
