BCWSA Racers to participate in 2019 Pacific Distance Carnival

BC Wheelchair Sports racers Paul Guerro, Nathan Dewitt, Tristan Smyth and Balraj Zimich will be participating in BC Athletics’ Long Distance Carnival on Thursday, June 13 at Swangard Stadium.
The four racers will be competing in a 1500m wheelchair race that starts at 6:56pm. Spectators are welcome and entry is by donation.
About the Pacific Distance Carnival
The 2019 Pacific Distance Carnival & Canadian 10,000m Championships is a Track & Field meet designed to bring new excitement (Think Music, Pyrotechnics, Drummers, & a Lane 5 Beer Garden) to long distance track racing while also offering Canadian & International Athletes an ideal environment to achieve personal best performances in the lead up to the 2019 IAAF World Track & Field Championships and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Pacific Distance Carnival offers both Olympic and Paralympic competitions as well as opportunities for recreational runners to compete alongside current and future Olympians who will compete in the National 10,000m Championships.
