BC Wheelchair Sports is excited to announce this year’s line-up of junior sports camps. As with last year, we were able to partner with KidSport to help cover some fees – KidSport will be covering registration fees only (for all campers). To access these subsidies, simply fill out the application form by contacting ana@bcwheelchairsports.com. Travel subsidies (for regional campers) will be provided separately from KidSport and can be accessed by contacting ana@bcwheelchairsports.com.

The camp will feature Steve Manley, BCWSA Provincial Wheelchair Tennis Coach and Paralympians Kai Schrameyer and Sarah Hunter as coaching staff. They will lead participants through a wide range of fun drills, activities, and match play.  All abilities are welcome and participants will be divided based on skill level over three courts. Siblings and friends are more than welcome to register as well!

This year’s camp offers a variety of fun sports including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair athletics, and wheelchair tennis. There will also be tag games and other fun surprises! Campers will also have the chance to play alongside our Junior Leaders who have participated in these sports from a local level to the international stage.

The last two days of the camp will be specifically a Wheelchair Basketball Camp. In addition, a nurse will be in attendance for the multi-sport sessions.

Siblings and friends are more than welcome to register as well!
