• Volunteers Needed for the 2016 Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament

BC Wheelchair Sports Association is hosting the annual Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, part of the UNIQLO ITF Wheelchair Tennis Tour, and would love your help! We are searching for volunteers in all roles, as well as individuals to join our ball crew team.
 
The Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament will be held outside at the Kitsilano Beach Tennis Courts beside the beautiful water during July 14th-17th, 2016. You will have the opportunity to meet and watch some of the top wheelchair tennis players from around the globe; last year we had a record 46 athletes from nine countries! The competition should be extra fiery this year as many of these athletes are preparing for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in September.

We are looking for both tournament volunteers and volunteers for our ball crew (Under 18 years old only).

Volunteer and Ball Crew sign-up deadline:  July 8th, 2016
Ball Crew training:  Tuesday July 12th, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Kitsilano Beach Tennis Courts.
**Please note: This is not a mandatory training session, however we still encourage you to sign-up as ball crew if you are unable to attend this training session but are still available to help during the tournament tim.

Registration/Information Table
Court Services
Take down
Transportation
First Aid
