• Eight Athletes Named to 2025 BC Provincial Wheelchair Tennis Team

BC Wheelchair Sports is pleased to announce the eight athletes selected to the 2025 BC Provincial Wheelchair Tennis Program!

All eight athletes return from last year’s team and includes competitors in the Men’s Open, Quad, and Junior Divisions.

The team features reigning Canadian champions, ITF Top 40 players Thomas Venos and Mitch McIntyre, and a mix of experienced veterans and emerging young players.

Paralympian Sarah Hunter will serve as Head Coach and train the team alongside Assistant Coach Matt Bees.

We look forward to seeing what this group will accomplish on the UNIQLO Tennis Tour as they work towards competing for BC at home at the 2025 Birmingham Nationals this November at UBC Tennis Centre.
