BC Wheelchair Tennis Athletes Experience Victory At Cajun Classic in Louisiana

Congratulations to Thomas Venos and Tomas Bourassa (aka #TeamT(h)omas) on their impressive showing at the ITF1 Cajun Classic in Louisiana this weekend. Provincial Coach Steve Manley was on site to coach all of the Canadian juniors competing in the tournament.

Tomas Bourassa won the Men’s A Consolation Division with a 7-6, 6-4 victory over David Green. He also placed third in the Junior Boys Division. He is now ranked #20 in the world for junior boys. Wow!

Thomas Venos won the Men’s B Doubles! He also partnered with Cole Wooten to defeat Richie Swanson and Elizabeth Williams 6-3 7-6 (3) to win the B Doubles Championships. He also placed 4th in the Junior Boys division. He is now ranked #47 in the world in junior boys.
