To the BCWSA Community, our supporters, and the public.
BCWSA has been made aware that there are individuals falsely claiming to represent BCWSA attempting to solicit money from the general public.
BC Wheelchair Sports does not engage in face-to-face and/or door-to-door fundraising. All of our donations are processed through our online system with CanadaHelps.ca or by mail sent to our office at 780 SW Marine Drive in Vancouver or by telephone to our office at 604-333-3520 ext. 204.
We have opened a case file with the Kelowna RCMP. If you or someone you know has encountered this scam or has information that may help the police, please contact them by phone at 250-762-3300.
We are grateful for the support of all of our donors and apologize to anyone who may have fallen victim to the actions of individuals who do not exemplify the values of our organization.
