BC Wheelchair Sports has returned from our Christmas break in full force and we’re ready to tackle your New Years resolutions. Whether you’re looking to make some new friends, learn how to play a sport, or bust your butt, we’ve got you covered. The calendar is filling up with awesome activities to do this spring season.

Hghlights include:

A weekly cardio and strength session at our very own office down on Marine Drive. Staff lead a group through a handcycle session, or, if you prefer, a universal gym and and medicine ball strength workout. It’s only $2!

• We’ve also got an indoor wheelchair racing & seated throws program held every Thursday night at the beautiful Richmond Oval. Click here for more information and pricing.

• We’re hosting a multisport “Have a Go” day at GF Strong on Tuesday, Jan. 24th. This is a great opportunity for you (or someone you know) to try out a bunch of different sports in the same venue in a fun & casual setting. What are you waiting for?

• If you (or someone you know) is a girl between the ages of 11-18, you can come play in our wheelchair tennis program. Led by Sarah Hunter, the program will teach girls the basics of this popular sport while they meet new friends and play fun games. Thanks to our awesome donors, this program is only $50 for all 11 sessions. Take a look!

If nothing above tickles your fancy, don’t forget to check out our events calendar. We’re adding new stuff all the time!
