Congratulations to BCWSA Program Coordinator Lisa Myers on being named to the World ParaAthletics Championships coaching team. The World ParaAthletics Championships will take place in London from July 14 – 23.
Since being named head coach of B.C.’s para-throws program in 2013, Lisa has become one of Canada’s fastest-rising para-throws coaches. Here in B.C., she’s taken the para-throws program from one or two athletes to an impressive contingent that swept the seated throws discus category at last year’s Canadian national championships.
