Here’s a fun, free event for the junior wheelchair athlete in your life! We will be hosting a Junior Red Ball Round Robin Wheelchair Tennis Tournament on Saturday November 4th from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Steveston Community Centre Tennis Courts. This is a great opportunity for kids who have been taking tennis lessons or who are newly involved in the sport to get some match experience, meet some new kids and have some fun! No experience is required, and all equipment (including wheelchairs) will be provided.
The format of the day is as follows:
2:30 – 3:30 – Warm-Up & Mini-Lesson including an explanation of how the tournament will be run
3:30 – 5:30 – Red Ball Round Robin Tournament
Pizza and Prizes to follow.
All abilities are welcome. Sports chairs and racquets will be provided for anyone who does not have their own – please specify if you need equipment when you register.
