Vancouver to hold draw for 2020 IWRF Paralympic Qualification Tournament

The draw for the 2020 IWRF Paralympic Qualification Tournament will take place on Friday, January 17th at 12pm PST in Vancouver, Canada.
The Paralympic Qualification Tournament runs from March 4 to 8 at the Richmond Olympic Oval and features eight teams vying for the final two spots at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The draw will determine which countries will face each other in the pool stage of the event. The Organising Committee will conduct the draw in the presence of IWRF CEO Eron Main.
Teams will be drawn in pairs based on their current IWRF World Ranking: Canada (5), and France (6); Sweden (7), Brazil (9), Germany (11), Colombia (12), Switzerland (15), and Thailand (21). Host country Canada (5) will select their pool after the first three pairs have been drawn, with France (6) assigned to the other pool.
