It’s going to be a busy winter full of wheelchair rugby as our Vancouver and Prince George programs start back up again and our provincial and development teams begin preparation for Nationals held later in the spring. 

Read on to here about what’s happening and coming up in the world of rugby. 

Vancouver Wheelchair Rugby Program 

Join the Vancouver Wheelchair Rugby Club for weekly practices. This program is open to athletes of all levels from beginners to experienced players. 
Date/Time: Tuesdays from 5:30-8pm
Location: Raycam Cooperative Centre (920 East Hastings Street, Vancouver)
Cost: $10 (BCWSA Membership)

Prince George Wheelchair Rugby Program

The Prince George Wheelchair Rugby Program hosts weekly practices that are open to the public.
Date/Time: Tuesday from 7-9pm
Location: College of New Caledonia ( 500 Nicholson St S, Prince George)
Cost: $10 (BCWSA Membership)

Calgary Wheelchair Rugby Tournament 

The BC Development Team heads to Calgary from February 15-17 to play in a tournament against teams from across Western Canada. 

20th Annual Vancouver Invitational Wheelchair Rugby Tournament

The 20th Annual Vancouver Invitational Wheelchair Rugby Tournament takes place March 8-10th at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Come watch the exciting wheelchair rugby action as teams from the world compete for the title. 

This year’s event features 2 divisons and sees the return of Team Germany alongside tournament regulars Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Portland and Seattle.

Bring the whole family to cheer on Team BC and celebrate 20 years of wheelchair rugby.
