Here's a fun, free event for the junior wheelchair athlete in your life!
If you’re an amputee or have a minimal disability like arthritis, you may be surprised to learn that you’re eligible to play wheelchair sports. You may be even more surprised to learn that in some sports, up to 50% of all athletes can walk or are completely able-bodied.
BC Wheelchair Sports Association and BC Wheelchair Basketball Society are hiring either one full-time or two part-time finance coordinators to join our team.
Responsibilities will include:
BCWSA is seeking some energetic volunteers for our programs and events throughout the season. No experience is necessary and we can train you for your role. Whether you want to commit a few hours at an event or come our to a weekly program, we can find a place for you.
Congratulations to Prince George's Joel Ewert, who was named a recipient of a Petro-Canada FACE Grant. He will receive $5,000 to help with his training. Joel's coach Adam Frost will also receive $5,000.
